What is there to say about this show?! Great host, awesome characters, dancing, costumes made a la project runway, make up transformations, funny dialogue and a supplemental after show just to showcase the shit talking and z snaps behind the scenes.
Definitely, one of my favorite shows and they just started season 4!!!!
LOVE ITTTTTTTT <3

My books
I'd categorize the books I like in three categories.
#1. Reading Assignments
Not all the books that fall under the category "reading assignments" were actually reading assignments, but I read them thinking they became classic reading assignments for good reasons.
#2. Saga Books
Self explanatory... (don't judge me)
i'm hoping you can't see this.
I'm still reading this one, no hurry since I've seen the first season, but the book is only slightly better than the awesome show.
I'm still unsure if I understood "y." A re-read is on my horizon.
#3. Highly Suggested
On the top of my list of books I suggest to friends to read there is Survivor, by Chuck Palahniuk. In Chuck Palahniuk's world, the things he writes about are usually about something else entirely. I'd also suggest Fight Club
and Snuff
both by Palahniuk, both very entertaining and thought provoking.
my mom gave me this as a Christmas gift before there was any rumor there would be a movie. I was surprised to hear that it was written by a man.
This was also a gift from my mom. So funny, and it gives you the ultimate answer to the universe, life and everything (42).
Sad, but funny. A mom suggestion, too.
I'm gonna re-read this soon, too.
Ummm, her last name is....
Good reads,
Jenny
Rugs
We're decorating our apartment still. I think our next big buy is gonna be a rug for the living room. Mikey suggested a southwestern print rug. In my fantasies, we buy something along these lines...

Because I am a 19 year old female hipster at heart.
My wife wants me to post more. So here I am.
When it comes to music I am an androgynous being in her sophomore year at a liberal arts college.
Shit I've been listening to recently:
Next post will have pictures of my ironic tattoos.
Best,
Mikey
P.S. I hope I lose my virginity soon.

Sewing
For Christmas, Mikey gave me a sewing machine. It's a Brother LX2500 and I know how to use 6 out of the 17 stitches (them is fancy).
So far, I've learned how to make pillowcases. Don't laugh! No one taught me how to use this thing, I just followed the quick handbook that came with the sewing machine. Pillowcases were my test run. Here is my ultimate goal for sewing...
Eventually, I want to be able to make this ^. But so far, this is what I can actually make...
TA-DA!
The fabric is cute, right? It was an old fitted sheet I found at Thrift Town.
I didn't have a pattern so I just folded a small scrap of the fabric until I figured out how to cut and sew it together. There was a lot of trial and error.
I also made some Euro sized pillowcases...
The fabric is also a repurposed bed sheet from Thrift Town.
There's no zippers or buttons on any of the pillows.
My next project is to alter some shorts and tshirts.

French Press
I don't want to live without it anymore.
I bought our new french press at Marshall's for 20 bucks and here are my intructions on how to use this thing:
Things you'll need (besides the french press):
-Kettle
-Coffee (grounds)
-table spoon
-water
-stirring spoon or chopstick (for stirring)
1. Bring water to boil in your kettle (enough to fill the french press to the top, and if you don't have a kettle any pot will suffice)
2. Start with the french press uncovered (without the plunge). Measure out 1 tablespoon of coffee ground for every cup of water and dump directly into french press (so if you're making enough coffee for two people, let's say that's roughly 5-6 cups of water, so you would add 5-6 tablespoons of coffee grounds to the french press).
3. Pour boiling hot water into french press, over the coffee grounds (be careful, it's hot!(duh)).
4. Stir the water and coffee grounds mixture and then let it sit for 4 minutes.
5. Place the top on, with the plunger thing poking out all the way, so that the mesh sits on the surface of the coffee, then push the plunger down slowly until the grounds are on the bottom of the french press (be careful it's hot!)
6. Pour coffee into drinking device immediately, don't wait or you'll cook it too long and it'll taste weird.
Best of luck!

Red & Gold
I'm no fairweather fan. I don't just wear my vintage Niner stuff because their winning. I wear it because their vintage stuff looks cool....and I grew up loving the Niners because my family loves the Niners. This is one of those conventional things instilled upon me that I didn't oppose. The religion I grew up with didn't stick, but my teams did. Giants and the Niners, baby!
I have so many memories growing up and a Niner game is the background. Empty, tumble weed type streets in Hercules because a Niner game was on. No way you were leaving the house on a game day. Playing outside with my cousins, riding bikes in the backyard, and hearing hooting and hollering from the upstairs bedroom window. My mom was watching the game. That's my childhood. Joe Montana, Steve Young, Jerry Rice. I didn't have to Google those names to know they were Niners. I'm sure I missed a lot of very important players from those legendary years, but you get the picture. I don't even know anything about sports, and these are household names to me.
Win or lose, I love them. I loved them last Saturday before they won (uhhh-ma-zing game, by the way). I'll love them this Sunday before they play. And I'll love them after, no matter what happens.
let's make it an exciting one,
jenny

Sea Foam
If I died tomorrow, without really knowing who I was, you could tell people my favorite color was sea foam green. They'd probably feel really sorry for you, seeing as we were so close.

What I need
Growing up isn't as fun as you'd think.
Yah, you have money and you can decide how you spend it.
But you have bills and you really don't decide how you spend your money, you just pay it.
So remember that post about where I was gonna shop after I made my special time pay for working the holiday week? Yah, that's just not even an idea I can entertain anymore, what with bills and other very essentials things I probably can't live without (I was due for new breaks back in November according to the toyota guy, but I can put that off, right?).
So here's my new list of essential things to buy with my, let's just call it a, holiday bonus....
Break pads!
Because my current eyeglasses are these sunglasses...
with the tinted lenses popped out and my prescription lenses jammed inside (not because I wanted to, or because I think I'm on the forefront of fashion, but because my son is the hulk and my husband is genius (sarcasm)) I'm putting legit prescription glasses, ones where the lenses fit inside the frames, on my list. I'm thinking of these, but am open to suggestions...
or...
North Face jacket (still on the list)

(this is like a "shit asian girls say" thing, where they are pretty much the same, but in my heart, they are different.)

Because I really can't live without this stuff. I swear! Don't judge me. Oh yah! Who is you??
