Their ability to stay close despite Mikey living in Cali and Thomas living in Portland amazes me.

The Maid of Honor

Before there was a Mikey, there was a Gabbie.

We met in the second grade and at one point, looked a lot like twins.  We went through elementary school together, but went to different schools from then on after.  It became our tradition to watch the Harry Potter movies together when they came out, and that kept us in touch throughout the years.  

But even after years of 'Arry Pottah premieres being our only time to hang out and catch up, we've been able to maintain a cool relationship.  We just kind of pick up where we left off, have fun, drink, shop, paint our nails, and it's just effortless.

She's my Thomas.

The last Saturday

We're getting married next Friday!!!!

The Best Part About My Work

Best part about working the night shift at Genentech, hands down: getting made fun of.


For example:


Did you know I had a "walk?"  Yeah, me neither.

After a re-enactment of "my walk" by a coworker, I concluded that:
-I'm bouncy.
-I have large calves for a reason.
-I'm indecisive in life and where I'm walking.



Second good thing about working the night shift;

the burritos.  Enough said.


Thirdly;  the people are aight.

 =P


I'm transfering to the day shift the week after the wedding, and I'm bummed.  I'm gonna miss working alongside the good guys on the night shift.



With that said...

"TOO MUCH TALKING. NOT ENOUGH WORK!"

A BIG thank you to my sweat shop workers bridal party and moms for coming over last Saturday to help with all the favors, menus, and programs!

Although we didn't finish everything, we still got a lot of work done with, I'm proud to say, a minimal amount of bathroom and meal breaks.  Good work everybody!

Is that right? 2 weekends left... !!!!!

Things have been busy (did I even need to say that?), but I can't live without a functioning set of glasses!

So I finally got around to picking my 5 pairs of at home try ons from Warby Parker today.

I'm gonna try on Preston, Webb, Beckett, and Winston.  I know, that's only 4 (MOM), but I got one style in 2 different colors.

Hopefully I'll get them by the end of this week, try them on, order them, and have a good pair of coke bottle glasses (yah I'm a negative 10 (that's legally blind)) by next week.  And then all I'll need to get is a hipster keychain and my uniform will be complete (joke). 



The tape can only hold my old glasses together for so long.  Damn you Nathan and your Hulk strength!
